Summary

CVE-2023-33476 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting ReadyMedia (MiniDLNA) versions ranging from 1.1.15 to 1.3.2. This issue is caused by flawed validation logic when processing HTTP requests with chunked transport encoding. As a result, attackers can supply maliciously constructed chunks that exceed the allocated buffer size, leading to out-of-bounds read/write operations.
