Details
Summary
CVE-2023-32751 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Pydio Cells versions up to 4.1.2. The issue arises due to hardcoded secrets used to sign URLs for file downloads with Amazon AWS SDK for JavaScript [1]. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by generating valid signatures for arbitrary download URLs and uploading an HTML file with modified download links. When the URL is opened in a browser, any included JavaScript code is executed, posing a security risk. This vulnerability allows attackers to inject malicious scripts and steal sensitive data or take control of user sessions. It is recommended that affected users upgrade to the latest version of Pydio Cells to mitigate this risk.
