Summary

CVE-2023-31167 is a Path Traversal vulnerability affecting Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories' SEL-5036 acSELerator Bay Screen Builder Software on Windows. This issue allows an attacker to access restricted directories through improper limitation of a pathname, potentially compromising the system. SEL acSELerator Bay Screen Builder software is used in SEL-5033 SEL acSELerator RTAC, SEL-5030 Quickset, and SEL Compass. The vulnerability was patched in the release available on 20230602.
