Summary

CVE-2023-2952 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Wireshark versions 4.0.0 to 4.0.5 and 3.6.0 to 3.6.13. An infinite loop in the XRA dissector can be exploited through packet injection or crafted capture files. This issue may cause Wireshark to become unresponsive or consume excessive system resources, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to update their Wireshark installations to the latest available version.
