Summary

CVE-2023-29159 is a directory traversal vulnerability that affects Starlette versions 0.13.5 and later, as well as prior to 0.27.0. This issue permits unauthenticated remote attackers to access files in a Starlette-based web service. By exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can potentially obtain sensitive information or disrupt the web service's functionality. This issue poses a significant risk, as it enables unauthorized access to otherwise protected files.
