Summary

CVE-2023-20510 is a vulnerability affecting PMFW (Precision Multi-Function Watchdog) that allows privileged attackers to read from an unverified DRAM address, causing data to be written to the SRAM. This issue may lead to data corruption or denial of service. An insufficient DRAM address validation is at the core of this problem. Attackers with sufficient privileges can exploit this vulnerability to gain unauthorized access to sensitive data or disrupt system functionality.
