Summary

CVE-2023-20211 is a vulnerability affecting the web-based management interface of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM) and Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition (Unified CM SME). An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending crafted HTTP requests to these systems. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input validation, allowing SQL injection attacks. Successful exploitation could result in data reading or modification in the underlying database or privilege escalation.
