Summary
CVE-2023-20060 is a newly discovered cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the web-based management interface of Cisco Prime Collaboration Deployment. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this issue by crafting malicious links and persuading a user of the interface to click on them. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive browser-based information. The vulnerability arises due to the interface's failure to properly validate user-supplied input. Cisco intends to release software updates to address this issue, but no workarounds are currently available.
