Summary

CVE-2022-49329: A Linux kernel vulnerability has been addressed, where accessing the msg_timeout attribute of a control device via sysfs would cause a NULL pointer dereference. This issue occurred because the control device lacked a drvdata, leading to the kernel crash at vduse\_dev.c:1271. To mitigate this, the unnecessary attribute for the control device is no longer created.
