Summary
CVE-2022-49129 is a vulnerability affecting the Linux kernel that could result in a use-after-free crash. Specifically, in the 'mt76' driver for the 'mt7921' chipset, if the network interface fails to start, there is a possibility that the 'reset_work' has already been scheduled. This could lead to a crash if the cleanup routine is called before the work item is executed. This issue has been resolved to prevent crashes when the radio fails to work on x86_64 systems.
