Summary
CVE-2022-49102 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel that could result in a memory leak. The issue stems from a possible copy-paste error in the code for the MMU DR fini (Memory Management Unit Directed I/O memory region finalization) function. If the host-resident shadow is NULL, which is likely due to the dependence between DR and HR, this vulnerability would lead to a memory leak. The patch addresses this issue by fixing the apparent error.
