Summary
CVE-2022-34398 refers to a Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTTOU) vulnerability present in Dell BIOS. An authenticated attacker can exploit this issue by executing a DMA transaction during a System Management Interrupt (SMI) at a specific moment in time. By doing so, the attacker may gain arbitrary code execution on the affected system.
