Summary

CVE-2022-30159 is a Microsoft Office information disclosure vulnerability. Maliciously crafted Office documents can lead to the leakage of sensitive information from the affected system. Exploitation of this issue may allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to data or gain a foothold for further attacks. Microsoft strongly recommends users to update their Microsoft Office installations to the latest version to mitigate this risk. The vulnerability can be triggered through previewing or opening a specially crafted document. Unpatched systems remain at risk.
