Summary

CVE-2022-29139 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Windows Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). An attacker can exploit this weakness by sending a specially crafted message to an LDAP server, resulting in arbitrary code execution on the targeted system. Successful exploitation may lead to serious consequences, including data theft, system compromise, or unauthorized access to sensitive information. Microsoft released a security update to mitigate this issue, and administrators are strongly encouraged to apply it promptly to protect their networks.
