Summary

CVE-2022-29133 is a Windows Kernel Elevation of Privilege vulnerability that allows an attacker to gain higher system privileges. This vulnerability can be exploited by a local attacker who has already gained a foothold on the system. Successful exploitation could result in the attacker having the ability to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights. Microsoft released a security update to address this issue, and it is recommended that all Windows systems be updated as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
