Summary
CVE-2021-47180: A memory leak issue has been identified and resolved in the Linux kernel's NFC subsystem. The problem stemmed from the function 'nci_allocate_device' in 'core.c', which failed to free the 'hci_dev' field in 'struct nci_dev' upon disconnection. This resulted in an unreferenced memory object of size 1024, leading to a memory leak. The affected kernel versions are vulnerable to this issue, and appropriate patches have been released to address it.
