Summary
CVE-2021-4314 is a vulnerability affecting IBM ZOS Marketing Functionality (zOSMF) versions 1.16 to 1.19. The issue enables an attacker to manipulate JWT tokens without the knowledge of the JWT secret, allowing unauthorized authentication as any user. This vulnerability arises when zOSMF lacks the APAR PH12143 update. Services utilizing ZAAS client or ML API are susceptible to this deception, mistakenly accepting the invalid JWT token as legitimate, potentially leading to security breaches and unauthorized user access.
