Summary
CVE-2021-44007 exposes a critical OS command injection vulnerability in the network settings functionality of reolink RLC-410W v3.0.0.136_20121102. The issue arises due to improper validation of the ddns->domain variable in the SetDdns API, allowing an attacker to inject OS commands by sending a malicious HTTP request. [1] and [2], depending on the DDNS type, are the vulnerable points in this process. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as an attacker can gain unauthorized access and control over the affected device.
