Summary

CVE-2021-29892 is a vulnerability affecting IBM Cognos Controller versions 11.0.0 and 11.0.1. This issue permits a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information. The cause of this vulnerability lies in the improper configuration of HTTP Strict Transport Security, leaving the system vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks. An attacker could exploit this flaw to intercept and obtain confidential data transmitted between the user and the IBM Cognos Controller.
