Summary
CVE-2021-26087 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting FortiWLC versions 8.6.0, 8.5.3 and below, 8.4.8 and below, and 8.3.3 in their web interfaces. This issue allows both authenticated and non-authenticated attackers on the same network to inject malicious payloads during web page generation. Consequently, attackers can execute malicious scripts on unsuspecting users' browsers, potentially leading to data theft, unauthorized access, and other forms of cyberattacks. FortiWLC users are strongly advised to apply the relevant software patches to mitigate this risk.
