Summary
CVE-2020-3539 is a vulnerability affecting the web-based management interface of Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM). It allows authenticated, remote attackers to gain unauthorized access to templates, view, modify, and delete data intended for users with Administrator privileges. The flaw stems from insufficient access control, and an attacker could trick a user into clicking a malicious URL to exploit it. This vulnerability poses a risk for low-privileged attackers, enabling them to perform actions as if they were Administrators. Cisco has issued software updates to mitigate this issue, with no available workarounds at present.
