Summary

CVE-2020-27124 is a denial-of-service vulnerability impacting Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this issue by establishing an SSL/TLS connection with the affected device and sending a malicious message. The vulnerability arises from improper error handling on established SSL/TLS connections. Successful exploitation may result in the device reloading unexpectedly. Cisco has released software updates to mitigate this vulnerability, and no workarounds are currently available.
