Summary
CVE-2020-24292 is a buffer overflow vulnerability identified in the load function of PluginICO.cpp present in FreeImage 3.19.0 [r1859]. Maliciously crafted ICO files can exploit this flaw, enabling remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected systems. By taking advantage of this weakness, attackers can potentially gain control over victim's systems, leading to unauthorized access, data theft, or system damage.
