Summary

CVE-2020-18382 is a heap buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Binaryen version 1.38.26. This issue is located in the wasm::WasmBinaryBuilder::visitBlock function in the file /src/wasm/wasm-binary.cpp. A specially crafted WebAssembly (WASM) input can cause a segmentation fault, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. The vulnerability was discovered through the use of wasm-opt.
