Summary
CVE-2019-2215 is a critical vulnerability affecting the Linux Kernel used in Android devices. This use-after-free issue in the binder.c component can be exploited to elevate privileges from an application to the kernel level. Unlike some vulnerabilities, user interaction is not required for exploitation. However, it does necessitate the installation of a malicious local application or a separate network-facing application vulnerability for successful exploitation.
