Summary
CVE-2018-9479 is a vulnerability affecting the sdp_server.cc file in certain versions of a specific software. In the functions process_service_attr_req and process_service_search_attr_req, an out-of-bounds write occurs due to the omission of necessary bounds checks. This issue poses a serious threat as it enables remote code execution without requiring any additional execution privileges. Notably, user interaction is not necessary for an attacker to exploit this vulnerability.
