Summary

CVE-2018-8453 is an elevation of privilege vulnerability that affects various Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 7, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows 10. The vulnerability is due to the Win32k component's failure to handle objects in memory properly, which could allow an attacker to raise their privileges and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information or system functions.
