Summary
CVE-2017-16774 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) before version 6.1.4-15217-3. This issue resides in the SYNO.Core.PersonalNotification.Event module, allowing remote authenticated users to inject malicious web scripts or HTML code into the system via the package parameter. Successful exploitation of this flaw may result in unauthorized access, data theft, or other malicious activities.
