Summary

CVE-2014-4114 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting multiple Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Vista SP2, Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, 7 SP1, 8, 8.1, Server 2012 Gold and R2, and RT Gold and 8.1. Attackers can exploit this issue by crafting a malicious OLE object within an Office document, leading to arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability was exploited in the wild through the "Sandworm" attack between June and October 2014.
