Summary

CVE-2012-0151 is a vulnerability affecting various Microsoft operating systems, including Windows XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008, and 7, as well as Windows 8 Consumer Preview. This issue lies within the Authenticode Signature Verification function, which fails to adequately validate the digest of a signed portable executable file.
