Summary
CVE-2001-0679 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting InterScan VirusWall versions 3.23 and 3.3. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending an excessively long HELO command to the server. This results in the overflow of a buffer, allowing the attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely.
