Summary
CVE-2001-0679 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting InterScan VirusWall versions 3.23 and 3.3. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending an excessively long HELO command to the server, resulting in the overflow of a buffer. This allows the attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely and potentially gain unauthorized access or control over the affected system.
