Summary
CVE-2000-0553 is a race condition vulnerability affecting IPFilter firewall versions 3.4.3 and earlier. When "return-rst" and "keep state" rules have overlapping conditions, an attacker can manipulate the sequence of events, bypassing access restrictions and gaining unauthorized access to the system.
