Summary
CVE-2000-0481 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the KDE Kmail email client. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending an email with a long file name attachment, leading to a denial of service condition in the application. The buffer overflow occurs when Kmail fails to properly handle the excess data in the file name, resulting in crashes or unintended program behavior.
