Summary
CVE-2000-0463 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting BeOS 5.0. Malicious actors can exploit this issue by sending fragmented TCP packets to targeted systems. The vulnerability does not involve any authentication, making it easy for attackers to launch attacks remotely. Successful exploitation results in the BeOS operating system becoming unresponsive, causing a denial-of-service condition. Systems running BeOS 5.0 are at risk until they receive an appropriate patch.
