Summary
CVE-2000-0459 is a vulnerability affecting IMP (Internet Message Processor) in Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5. The issue arises when MSWordView application is used, and IMP fails to remove files properly if the application quits unexpectedly. Maliciously crafted requests for large numbers of documents can be sent to exploit this flaw, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. The vulnerability occurs due to inadequate file removal processes in IMP, leading to potential disk space exhaustion.
