Summary

CVE-2000-0459 is a vulnerability affecting Microsoft Internet Explorer Data Access Component (IMP). The issue arises when IMP fails to remove files properly if MSWordView application is terminated prematurely during the process of requesting multiple documents. This allows local users to cause a denial of service by flooding the system with numerous document requests before stopping the process, ultimately filling up the disk space. Consequently, the system becomes unresponsive due to insufficient space.
