Summary

CVE-2000-0447 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting WebShield SMTP 4.5.44. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by providing a excessively long configuration parameter to the WebShield remote management service. As a result, the buffer overflows, leading to arbitrary command execution on the targeted system. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it allows an attacker to gain unauthorized control over the affected system.
