Summary
CVE-2000-0415 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Outlook Express 4.x. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a maliciously crafted email or news message with a .jpg or .bmp attachment having an excessively long file name. This results in a denial-of-service condition, causing the application to crash and become unresponsive.
