Summary

CVE-2000-0412 is a vulnerability affecting the gnapster and knapster clients for Napster. This issue arises from the clients' failure to restrict access solely to MP3 files. Consequently, remote attackers are able to read arbitrary files on the client by supplying the full file pathname. This vulnerability poses a risk to the confidentiality of data stored on affected systems.
