Summary

CVE-2000-0403 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the CIFS Computer Browser service on Windows NT 4.0. Malicious actors can cause service disruption by flooding the master browse tables with excessive host announcement requests. This issue, also known as "HostAnnouncement Flooding" or "HostAnnouncement Frame" vulnerability, allows remote attackers to overwhelm the service and potentially prevent legitimate users from accessing shared resources.
