Summary

CVE-2000-0403 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the CIFS Computer Browser service on Windows NT 4.0. An attacker can cause service disruption by sending an excessive number of host announcement requests to the master browse tables. This issue, also known as "HostAnnouncement Flooding" or "HostAnnouncement Frame" vulnerability, allows an remote entity to overload the system with requests, leading to service unavailability.
