Summary

CVE-2000-0316 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Solaris 7's lp service. Maliciously crafted input to the -d option can cause the buffer to overflow, leading to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can exploit this flaw to gain root privileges, posing a serious threat to local system security.
