Summary
CVE-2000-0305 is a vulnerability affecting Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, and Terminal Server systems. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a large number of identical fragmented IP packets. These packets cause a Denial of Service condition upon reassembly, leading to system instability and potential network congestion. The vulnerability, also known as jolt2 or the "IP Fragment Reassembly" vulnerability, poses a significant threat to network availability and integrity.
