Summary
CVE-2000-0293 is a vulnerability affecting the aaa_base component in SuSE Linux 6.3 and the cron.daily utility in earlier versions. This issue arises due to a misinterpretation of filenames containing spaces when deleting expired files from the /tmp directory. Consequently, local users can delete arbitrary files by creating specially crafted files, posing a potential security risk.
