Summary
CVE-2000-0293 is a vulnerability affecting SuSE Linux 6.3 and earlier versions. It allows local users to delete arbitrary files by creating specially crafted files with spaces in their names. The aaa_base utility, responsible for deleting expired files from the /tmp directory, incorrectly interprets these files, leading to unintended deletion. This issue can result in data loss and potential system compromise.
