Summary
CVE-2000-0279 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting BeOS systems. Maliciously crafted packets with header lengths larger than their indicated length field can cause BeOS to become unresponsive, resulting in a denial of service condition. This issue may allow attackers to disrupt services on vulnerable hosts by sending specially crafted network traffic.
