Summary

CVE-2000-0228 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Microsoft Windows Media License Manager. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a malformed request to the manager, causing it to halt and resulting in a denial-of-service condition. This vulnerability, also known as the "Malformed Media License Request" issue, does not allow unauthorized access or data theft but can disrupt the normal operation of the Media License Manager service.
