Summary
CVE-2000-0227 is a vulnerability affecting the Linux 2.2.x kernel. This issue allows local users to create an excessive number of Unix domain sockets, beyond the limit defined by the wmem_max parameter. By doing so, they can cause a denial-of-service condition, consuming system resources and disrupting normal operations. This vulnerability poses a potential threat to system stability and availability.
