Summary
CVE-2000-0164 is a vulnerability in Sun Internet Mail Server (SIMS) that was identified over two decades ago. Upon installation, SIMS creates a world-readable file which unfortunately contains password information. This means that local users with access to the system can easily view and obtain these passwords, posing a significant security risk.
