Summary

CVE-2000-0152 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Novell BorderManager 3.5. By entering a key in a telnet connection to port 2000, remote attackers are able to cause the service to become unresponsive and unavailable to users. This issue can result in a significant disruption to network access and productivity. Novell released a patch to address this vulnerability, and it is strongly recommended that all affected systems be updated promptly to mitigate the risk. Failure to do so may leave networks vulnerable to disruption by malicious actors.
