Summary
CVE-2000-0099 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the ppptalk command in UnixWare. Local users can exploit this issue by supplying a maliciously crafted prompt argument, which overflows the buffer and allows them to gain elevated privileges. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to systems running UnixWare, as it can be easily exploited by attackers to compromise the system and gain unauthorized access.
