Summary
CVE-2000-0060 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting version 1.1 of the aVirt Rover POP3 server. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a long user name, leading to a denial of service condition. The server fails to properly handle input validation, resulting in the overflow of a buffer. This vulnerability may cause the server to crash or become unresponsive, potentially disrupting email services for legitimate users.
