Summary
CVE-2000-0014 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the Savant web server. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a maliciously crafted URL containing a null character to the server. The null character causes the server to crash, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. This issue can be mitigated by implementing input validation and filtering out null characters in URLs before they reach the server. Failure to address this vulnerability can lead to extended downtime and disruption of services.
